We pray through the intercession of Our Lady and St (Padre) Pio.
During our healing prayer we offer thanks to the Lord for making us channels of His Healing, Love, Compassion and Peace and giving us the Gifts to heal in His Name.
Healing in the name of Jesus is all in the giving Giving freely and expecting no reward.
Giving for the sake of giving. Giving God's healing, flowing through our emptiness.
As a result of prayer, God grants restored health of mind and body to some, to others He grants inner healing and new freedom in the Spirit and to others still He grants interior grace to unite their suffering with the sufferings of Christ.
The message for all of us is a message of great hope.

During a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 2007 we were asked to pray especially for healing for all who have had abortions and in 2009 we were asked to promote the Divine Mercy Chaplet through prayer, healing and evengelisation.
Both of us were and still are involved in caring for the Sick, the Housebound, the Elderly, the Alone and the Lonely.
Our Spiritual and Healing gifts were developed in very different ways:
Alison had a powerful experience of receiving the Holy Spirit into her life over 30 years ago.
She prays with discernment, sometimes receiving a Word of Knowledge as to what to pray for, or feels the need, or "sees" the need in the face of the other.
Patrick became involved in prayer for healing after his own recovery from cancer in 2000 He can physically feel the pain of another in his own body, and knows the area of the body that requires prayer through the heat or tingling felt in his fingers and this is confirmed by Alison.
The pain or illness manifests itself through Patrick's body - shaking in his hands and limbs - sometimes he takes the pain from the other and a bruise, swelling or actual pain remains in his own body for some time.
This happens regardless of whether laying hands, praying on the phone or through Email.- the Holy Spirit is not constrained by time or space!
We reply to all emails with words of comfort, compiled from appropriate bible quotations, and healing prayers.
We are both used, as is so often the case, to pray for people with needs which we have personally experienced, spiritual, physical and emotional.
We visit groups and parishes as and when requested.

I have heard the Voice of God four four times in Medjugorje.The first time on Podboro when I was sitting on a rock and telling God that of course it was a privilege to bring people here, but I had been so busy caring for them that I had not got as much out of the pilgrimage as usual. Immediately, a voice of authority in my head clearly said Some people need consoling and some are consolers. Will you be one of my consolers? Yes Lord, of course I will! .

While climbing Krusevec in my bare feet, after the fourth station where Mary meets Jesus, the pain was intense. I had a glimpse of His suffering and tried to offer it up but each step brought such pain and took my breath away. I sat down on a stone and listened to Jesus.
I choose your path in life, for some I choose a path of Suffering because in the Suffering they find Me.
But for you I choose Joy.
Not all can find Me in Joy.
