The Cross
We must never separate the Cross from Jesus, otherwise it would become a weight which in our weakness we could not carry.
In this life Jesus does not ask you to carry the heavy cross with Him, but a small piece of His cross, a piece that consists of human suffering.
Our Lord sends the crosses, we do not have to invent them .Endure tribulations, illness and pain - for the love of God and for the conversion of poor sinners.
Help me to carry the Cross, I who carry it for all.
Prayer.
Pray, pray to the Lord with me, because the whole world needs your prayers. And every day, when your heart especially feels the loneliness of life - Pray.
Praying is pouring our heart into the heart of God
Prayer is the oxygen of the soul.
Prayer is the best weapon we possess, the key that opens the heart of God.

Love Our Lady, make others love Her.
Recite the Rosary and recite it frequently. It costs so little and it is worth so much.

Patrick had taken his wet sandals off and was going down the marble stairs for a coffee when he slipped on a wet step. As he crashed backwards onto the steps with his full weight onto his hip and cracking the back of his head I called out Oh no Help him! (to the angels) I shoved my knee into his side to stop his rolling down the stairs but he had banged his head on the wall, jarred his jaw, cut open the skin on his elbow and hurt his shoulders. He saw a flash of light and felt sick and dizzy but was determined to stand up.
I walked him back to his room, cleaned his head which was now an angry dark purple, and ripped a shirt to make a bandage for his elbow. His jaw, shoulders and hip were too sore to touch. He would not go to hospital just wanted to lie down. I went back to my room but before I went to sleep I asked Padre Pio that as we were in his earthly home would he please come and lay his hand on Patricks head to heal him.
The next morning Patrick came down for breakfast saying he had had the best night sleep for ages and had dreamt that Padre Pio came to him during the night and put his hand on his head. When he got up his elbow had scabbed over, his hips and jaw were fine, no aches or pains anywhere and there was no lump on his head, no cuts or bruises anywhere!. Completely healed.

Healing from Cancer We were asked to pray a novena to Padre Pio for a 13 year old lad who was dying from progressive malignant cancer in the lower abdomen. The sick child, Michael Andrews, had a tumour the size of a baseball sitting on his left pelvis and it could be clearly seen and felt as a large swelling. One night, Michael's mother heard him shouting and screaming in pain. She rushed to his room but when she got there she found him sound asleep. She was mystified. Something made her look behind at the Padre Pio picture in his bedroom. All the white areas in the picture were glowing in the dark. In order to ensure that it was not some light creeping in, she closed all the doors. However, the picture of Padre Pio continued to glow. She ran her fingers over the glowing areas. They were real enough. After a little while the visitation went away and all fell into darkness. Next morning Michael found that the large tumor so prominent in his lower abdomen had disappeared. Healing from Alcoholism
I am an alcoholic and had to be hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. All of the doctors concerned pronounced me a vegetable. The brain damage was so severe, the doctors said there was no hope of recovery. With the best medical care and attention, there was no hope at all. Some person, of whom I do not know to this day, left a picture of Padre Pio beside my bed and it was from then on that I began to get better. I am now completely and fully healed with no sign of brain damage. I am also a recovered alcoholic and have been for many years.
