Magnificat

My soul magnifies the Lord,


And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.


For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden,


For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.


For He who is mighty has done great things for me,

 

and holy is His name

 

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.

The seeds for this Home Pilgrimage Of The Heart were sown in Medjugorje while we were praying for guidance on what we could do to help spiritually all those who for whatever reason are unable to go on pilgrimage.

 

This Home Pilgrimage reaches out to some of the most vulnerable in our society; the elderly, the sick, the housebound, the home alone.

 

By downloading this booklet, we hope that all who feel isolated will anticipate a sense of participation and oneness with the wider community as you join in prayer with each other.

 

May this spiritual exercise give you a feeling of belonging and help you realize your vocation as valued members of the Body of Christ.
